MEET THE BLOGGERS!!!
Adam Lutz
Adam Lutz here..Born a Penn Stater in Happy Valley (State College, PA to be exact), I came here to Sunny San Diego about 10 years ago. I have never looked back. I have a lot of passions but would safely say that soccer is the number one hobby. It is amazing living in a city where one could go from the ocean to the mountains in less than three hours. With this in mind, I love to run, bike, and hike as much as I can. Life is too short so I try anything and everything new I can.
During the week I spend my time at the Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Central, speaking to a variety of guest. Sometimes my little dog, Isabella, will even join me too.
Living in Pb is such an enriching experience. From the laughable kids prowling the streets on the weekend to the beautiful boardwalk to jog on, I feel truly blessed to be where I am in life
Cheers!

Kevin Marquez
I am Kevin Marquez and I have lived in San Diego for over 30 years. I graduated from San Diego State University. What a great school. I have been in the hotel industry for about 25 years now. I started-out at the Residence Inn by Marriott – La Jolla property and then opened my first hotel, the Residence Inn by Marriott – San Diego Downtown. I had so much fun opening a hotel that when the Hampton Inn by Hilton – San Diego Downtown opportunity came about, I could not refuse. Then a year later the two properties merged with the same owners and I had the best of both worlds. Now hear I am 10 years later and loving what I do.
I live in South Park, yes like the TV show, but my neighbors are not as funny looking. South Park is an incredible place to live. There are wonderful places to dine, pub crawl, shop and places to listen to live music, just within a couple blocks of my house. This is a wonderful experience, like what you would expect from downtown San Diego, but without the drive. Most of these are located off of 30th street, south of University Avenue. It is the happening place to visit.
Wine tasting is my favorite thing to do in South Park. We have two wine tasting establishments on opposite ends of 30th street and both very good. Mosaics is one of my favorite places to visit. They have a great happy hour from 4pm-7pm. Drinks and food are at a great discount. Their flat breads and pizzas are incredible and pair perfectly with wine. Also, note that many of their wines are tapped directly out of a barrel for a authentic wine tasting experience.
Let me know your favorite San Diego experiences ?
